LED lighting meets the most demanding requirements

On an infrastructure project that is completely underground, lighting is of paramount importance. In the case of the Crossrail railway line – also known as the Elizabeth line – project in London, this is particularly true. FUTURE Designs has been tasked with meeting the design and performance requirements of the lighting. The company involved its long-term partner Tridonic in the project, using the latter’s experience and technical knowledge to develop a suitable, customised lighting solution. The decision to only use LEDs will significantly reduce the lighting’s energy consumption and maintenance costs and ultimately result in lower overall project costs.
