With a small build-in depth of just 30 millimetres, these modules are the perfect solution for ultra flat luminaire designs, which are now even easier to realise thanks to additional drill holes. In addition, the second generation of CLE excite (EXC) modules features enhanced colour rendering of CRI 90 and improved luminous efficacy of up to 185 lumens per watt. The seventh generation of excite (EXC) modules shows off varied objects at their first. Special light colours can accentuate particular colours, surfaces and materials even more specifically. Lifestyle shops are benefiting enormously from the special FASHION module. The new PURE WHITE light colour achieves an extremely natural and luscious colour effect by emphasising white tones. In addition, the entire module series is receiving a chip upgrade along with a new TIM material for the best possible thermal conductivity. The flexible continuous row is the practical alternative for linear LED modules. Supplied as a row, the 14-mm-wide LLE FLEX CC not only saves space, but can also be adjusted to the respective length required thanks to its design, which gives users the option of cutting the row every 140 mm. LED modules from Tridonic: top quality thanks to rigorously tested components

Tridonic places great importance on excellent raw materials. The reliability of LED modules and components can be verified through a series of tests in accordance with JEDEC standards. These involve internationally standardised methods for testing semi-conductor components. Various tests investigate how components behave under harsh operating conditions, how their properties change and how stable they are. This ensures only rigorously tested materials are used to produce components.

In the ‘high temperature over life time’ test, the light sources are exposed to ambient temperatures of 60 to 90 degrees Celsius. Measurements are taken at regular intervals to test the extent to which their properties change. If the luminous flux decreases relatively sharply over time, this indicates there are shortcomings in the components’ quality. Good components, on the other hand, barely see their luminous flux decline – if at all – over a period of 1,000 hours at 90 degrees Celsius.
